Aft Bridge The lower bridge of the Columbus is used mainly for recreation when the crew have a few moments off. There are several large portholes in this room, and even a jaded NASA employee will have a hard time denying that the view of all the stars laid out before you is an amazing one... |

Engine Room Furthest aft of the Columbus is a circular, dim room full of wires, computer consoles, and complicated machinery. The engineers control the fission process from here, although the actual reactors are blocked off and insulated to prevent any exposure to humans. |

Scrubland Bordering a much deeper forest is an area of scrubland. The plants and animals here are vaguely earthlike, but the colors and variations are far more vibrant and interesting. |

Deep Forest Beyond the scrubby hills, the forests of Tantalus begin. These towering, coniferesque trees are able to grow close to a thousand feet high due to the low gravity, high oxygen content, and climate. |

Flatlands Briares' surface is made up entirely of a smooth, iridescent blue-green composite material. These flats are broken only by the occasional geothermal vent, and only very rarely by craters - Oceanus's gravitational field protects Briares' smooth crust for the most part. |

The Brightly-Shining Sea About a kilometer off from the Santa Maria base, Briares' surface slopes down towards this vast expanse of water. It is relatively shallow - only about 350 meters at its greatest depth - but the interesting thing about this sea is its composition. The water in it is completely pure, enough so that the bottom can be seen when it is not too deep. Even traces of other elements are very hard to find - what should be an impossibility. The cause of this is as of yet unknown. |

Geovents These jagged, several-meters-high ruptures in Briares' surface are the source of the surface layering. It is estimated that they have been erupting off and on for several tens of thousands of years. |

Shipheart The engine room of the Kyirokryil is laid out in smooth curves, glass displays, and suspended globes of blue light. It is impossible to work out by any human, but the Krii seem to think it is far less complicated than the controls of the Columbus. |

Night Caverns Surrounding the Shipheart is a network of silvery cubbyhole-type areas filled with brightly-colored plush shapes. This is where the Krii sleep and socialize. (The humans are jealous.) |

Shipeye The bridge of the Kyirokryil is slung underneath the ship's main body. It is a glass bubble filled, like the Shipheart, with sleek controls incomprehensible to the humans. As usual, this greatly perplexes the Krii, who find them the easiest thing in the worlds. |

Rocks of Tartarus//Imyn Kael Instead of rings, Oceanus has orbiting it a belt of huge rocks. They are varying shapes and sizes, but all made of a uniform smooth gray material. Some of them have strange crystal growths springing from their cracks, that make eerie, high-pitched noises when broken. It is possible that they are life-forms of some kind. |
