Briares' surface is made up entirely of a smooth, iridescent blue-green composite material. These flats are broken only by the occasional geothermal vent, and only very rarely by craters - Oceanus's gravitational field protects Briares' smooth crust for the most part.
Atmosphere: 60% Nitrogen, 33% Helium, 6% Argon, 1% trace elements. (Unsuitable for human lungs)
